Village Clubs and Groups

Our villages can offer so much choice when it comes to getting out and about and meeting people.  From lunch clubs to gardening, from art to model railways and indoor bowls to dancing,  there is such a diverse choice that you are sure to find something that suits you.
There are 6 halls that play host and Pevensey Bay Baptist Church also welcomes groups to meet within its walls.

If you are new to the villages you will be welcomed when you walk through the door to find out about and maybe join your chosen group.  Some meet weekly while others come together monthly.  There is always something going on, somewhere to make new friends.

The villages pride themselves in retaining the old tradition of keeping community spirit up and running, and now, as we find ourselves well into the 21st century, PVP are looking to enhance what we already have, and help provide even more activities and events to entice people out of their houses.

Pevensey Senior Support Group (PSSG) is a local charity looking after the welfare of older people in Pevensey and Pevensey Bay. PSSG is a registered charity, number 247247

  • General help and support
  • Regular outings and trips
  • Bingo and race nights
  • Christmas Bazaar and other get togethers

Could you be a volunteer for PSSG?

PSSG has a range of volunteering opportunities. If you have a few hours a week you could give up for the local community we would love to hear from you.

Maybe you fancy driving our Bus? Or you would like to help provide a hot lunch at the Tuesday Pop-in. We are looking for more home visitors so if you could visit someone locally on a regular basis please let us know. You might fancy organising a fund raising event (all our funds come from the local community and all the people who work for PSSG are volunteers so all the money raised goes to the community)

If you would like to know more about what we do, or you would like to volunteer with us, please contact
